Dr.Michael YurkusDVMVeterinarian, Manager
After graduating undergraduate from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania Dr. Yurkus attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2000. After graduation he practiced small animal medicine for 5 years on the north shore of Massachusetts before moving to Middletown, NJ, where he resides with his wife, 4 children and their dogs, Oakley and Emma. Dr. Yurkus has a special interest in surgery, both orthopedic and soft. tissue.

Dr.Franscisco J. Velazquez VMDVeterinarian, Staff
Dr. Velazquez graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987. He has worked at the Middletown Animal Hospital since his graduation, and became a partner in 1993. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association, and the Jersey Shore Veterinary Medical Association. Dr.V has a special interest in internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, basketball and motorcycling.

Dr.Thomas G. CurroDVM,MSVeterinarian, Staff
Dr. Curro graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989. Dr. Curro has had a varied career working in private practice, university, humane shelter, avian speciality, and zoo settings. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Zoo Veterinarians, Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians. Dr. Curro's interests include exotic pets and animals, in-line skating, video gaming, and counted cross stitching.

Dr. Ferraris graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She loves living in Navesink where she spends her free time running and biking at Sandy Hook, Learning the piano, and relaxing with her husband and their three cats, Autumn, October, and Sasha; and two dogs, Kennedy and Marshall.

Dr. Hernandez, a New Jersey Native, received her bachelor degree from Rutgers University and earned her Veterinary Medical Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Hernandez's professional interests include surgery, internal medicine, behavior, and exotic medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, Cersei, snowboarding, trying new restaurants, and spending time her husband, family, and friends.
