After graduating undergraduate from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania Dr. Yurkus attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2000. After graduation he practiced small animal medicine for 5 years on the north shore of Massachusetts before moving to Middletown, NJ, where he resides with his wife, 4 children and their dogs, Lincoln and Emma. Dr. Yurkus has a special interest in surgery, both orthopedic and soft. tissue.
